The Senior Project Manager, Robotics leads Product Support and Global Launch programs with diverse, multi-functional core teams; responsibilities include the planning of all project activities, synchronization of Core Team efforts and management of the overall project schedule, resource requirements, and project budget. You will drive program execution while ensuring that the program/project activities meet internal and external customer requirements and follows S&N Product Development Process reporting and reviews by senior leadership.
What will you be doing?Lead efforts to transition programs from Project Planning through Design Transfer and LaunchProjects include execution of design updates to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturabilityForm and lead cross-functional teams in driving projects including requirements development, risk analyses and quality documentation, regulatory updates, drawing updates, testing and all related design control and documentationLead international launches of recently developed New Product Development (NPD) programsWork with partner groups and NPD teams to gain alignment & support to achieve project objectivesEnsure projects are implemented in compliance with regulatory requirements and Phase Review ProcessDevelop comprehensive project plans and maintain throughout project lifecycleLeading one or multiple focused, cross-functional teams to execute development or global launch projects in accordance with criteria specified in performance agreement between the team & marketing. The scope of the team's responsibility project planning, product design or acquisition, manufacturing transfer, design transfer, international regulatory registrations, & market product launch.Meeting contract requirements that include: time to market, cost of goods, development costs, quality standards.
What will you need to be successful?Bachelor degree in Engineering4+ years of successful, demonstrated, experience in leading new product development or sustaining projects. Medical device experience and electromechanical design experience preferred.Ability to multi-task in an environment of competing priorities.Successfully handles multiple programs and project teams simultaneously. Excellent organization and communication skills are critical.Well rounded experience and understanding of all functions, including their interrelation and interdependencies.
