The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations as well as business development aspects of projects within the Construction Services Corporate Business Group as they relate to New York City Health and Hospitals (NYC H+H) projects.
What You Will Do
Responsible for developing and executing business plan and business development plan at the client level, with oversight of the staff servicing the client(s) assigned to the candidate.Obligated to the Area Manager for developing and executing the Business Line (BL) strategy for H+H.Assist in making informed Go-No Go decisions for pursuing new business opportunities based on thorough analysis and evaluation of H+H.Foster and facilitate cross-selling opportunities between the (BL) and other relevant Practices or services.Act as the primary Client and Capture Manager for the H+H account, nurture client relationships and lead the capture process effectively.Direct, manage, and facilitate the coordination of practices and staff members assigned to the client.Assume responsibility for Project Managers, ensuring the successful management of the work they oversee.Take charge of safety performance, including overseeing office safety coordinators and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.Ensure the effective performance of the quality management system program, maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement.Serve as a Senior Project Manager, leading key projects and delivering exceptional results.Establish and manage key performance metrics to assess the success and profitability of client engagements and business activities.Monitor project performance using metrics such as Revenue Factor, Net Labor Multiplier for projects both owned and working, and variance analysis to optimize project profitability.Evaluate and manage the utilization of staff resources to maximize productivity and efficiency in client engagements.Drive client-associated sales and revenue growth, leveraging existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion.Take ownership of Client-related Accounts Receivable management, ensuring timely payments and efficient cash flow.Promote a culture of employee relations, wellness, continuous learning, and innovation within the organization, contributing to a positive work environment.Oversee overhead management to control costs and allocate resources effectively.Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with industry standards.Continuously monitor and improve client satisfaction, addressing any issues proactively to maintain strong client relationships.Education | Experience:Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.New York PE License or CCM is preferred.20 years of progressive experience as a Construction Manager10 years of experience in managerial / in-charge roles5 years of experience with the H+HProficient in planning, assigning, directing, coordinating and reviewing the work of professional and technical employees; managing resources - financial, personnel, and equipment - to achieve goals.Skilled in public relations for maintaining effective working relationships with all project stakeholders.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Company Overview:Life at Gannett Fleming
