In this role you will actas the technical lead over the design of new and existing products. Youwill lead multidisciplinary engineering teams focused on design andmanufacture of leading-edge avionics products. You will act as thetechnical point of contact both internally and to our customers whichinclude the world\'s most recognizable airframers. This position islocated at our headquarters in Oak Creek, WI with the possibility of ahybrid schedule. How You Will Do It: Lead a multi-disciplinaryengineering team, comprised of electrical, mechanical, software,systems, and certification engineers. Lead project level design reviewsthrough development including the planning, architecture,implementation, verification, and certification. Propose and manage thedesign of new products, improvements, and technology updates to ensurethat our developments align with market needs and product roadmaps. Leadthe technical team in the pursuit of new business. Technical point ofcontact with Astronautics customers current and future. Partner withprogram management to plan and execute schedules and budgets. Monitorand communicate project status to management and customers. What We LookFor: Required Minimum 10 years engineering experience in electronicsproduct development. 5 years of engineering leadership experience.Experience in planning and executing engineering development projects,including staffing, schedule, budget, and risk management. Bachelor\'sdegree in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, SystemsEngineering, Computer Science, or another related technical disciplinefrom an accredited university. Eligible to work in the United Stateswithout sponsorship. Preferred Experience managing projects with formalproject management tools (ie MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps). Experiencein the design of avionics or other safety critical systems. Experiencein a safety-critical industry (ie Aerospace, Automotive, MedicalDevice).
