　　Job Description

　　AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to be based in San Jose, CA.

　　Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team

　　Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

　　Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

　　Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

　　Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

　　Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

　　Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

　　Prepares technical specification sections.

　　Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:

　　Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in CA

　　Expertise in developing design packages for highway and/or roadway improvement projects in CA

　　Experience preparing technical specifications in Greenbook

　　Minimum of ten years of technical experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility

　　Proficient in the use of and ability to lead others in the use of Microstation, InRoads, AutoCad and Civil 3D

　　Excellent written and oral communications skills

　　Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $100,946-$186,749.
