Would you like to roll-out technology for a new and rapidly growing business in Amazon Middle Mile transportation? The TOM Product team is looking for an entrepreneurial Sr. Program Manager who combines strong analytical skills with passion for technology and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team plays an integral role in ensuring that packages are successfully delivered to customers' front doors. TOM creates an innovative value proposition for drivers by offering predictable work schedule and the ability to stay local. Prioritizing driver experience and safety, we are building a business model that will change the freight industry.
The TOM Product creates an annual roadmap that supports TOM business goals and drives roadmap execution by working across the Middle Mile tech and data science teams. We are creating planning, scheduling and task execution technology that dramatically improves the experience for thousands TOM associates and field managers.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will work in tandem with TOM product managers and across a wide range of tech and non-tech teams to prepare TOM labor planning models roll-out. You are expected to become a subject matter expert in the existing planning tools and processes. You will proactively identify the needs of the program and operations teams involved in the planning process and make sure the data flows in the new products reflect these needs. You should be ready to perform data modifications and data modelling yourself and work with the product, BIE and data engineering teams to define more robust solutions for data storage and data processing.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Quantitative experience with process overhaul, cross-functional management, and lean six sigma fundamental usage.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
