About Senior Product Manager – Logistics Networks, Shipment Technologies

  Description

  Amazon’s Ship Tech (STS) team is responsible for key technology that enables planning, orchestration, and execution of transportation service to deliver billions of packages to Amazon.com customer globally. Our goal is to ensure the best delivery experience for customers across all geographies through a highly scalable, adaptive, and autonomous transportation network.

  We are looking for a product leader to be a part of our multi-year effort to build products and services that will allow Amazon to rapidly partner with transportation providers to increase global network coverage across all modes of transportation. They will own critical Amazon services that seamlessly connect our carrier and seller networks, and enable collaboration and execution efficiency. These services allow Amazon to provide our customers with fast, flexible, and reliable delivery options anywhere in the world.

  The ideal candidate will have successfully built 0-to-1 products in the logistics and transportation space. You are able to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities, and translate them into products that solve specific pain-points. You are analytical and data driven, and are laser focused on measuring and improving the success of products you own. You will own the business model, P&L, feature development, product roadmap, customer segmentation and pricing, and demand generation. You will drive product development across multiple cross-functional teams.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Bellevue, WA, USA | Chicago, IL, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  Experience with end to end product delivery

  Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  Experience as a product manager or owner

  Experience owning technology products

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  MBA in Supply Chain Management

  5+ years of experience working with Logistics Service Providers and Carriers

  2+ years of experience B2B Integration Tech (EDI, API, AS2, Gateways, Security, etc.)

  2+ years of experience in transportation & logistics systems (TMS, WMS, FMS)

  Proven ability and experience leading 0 to 1 products

  High attention, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  General Manager / owner mentality, willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary

  Ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
