A Day in the Life:
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager who knows how to help define, de-risk and execute against a product vision. You will be collaborating with customers and colleagues on cross-functional and co-located product teams. The role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, empathy, humility and an appreciation for and understanding of lean start up, agile and user-centered design values, principles and practices.
What You’ll Do:
Define and prioritize product features that will enable the growth and scale of Hertz’s Rideshare business in international markets, which is one of the fastest growing sectors of the business.
Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.
Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach to expansion and profitable scale for the Rideshare program internationally.
Communicate across constituencies: within Rideshare cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (partners, investors, candidates, etc.)
Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision making
Articulate and systematically test product hypotheses
Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators
Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the pricing system
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of Product Management experience
Experience shipping successful consumer facing products: including defining outcome-driven product roadmaps, prioritizing competing requests and managing backlogs.
Demonstrated strength in metrics driven execution.
Experience rolling out “whole” product that includes system capabilities, business processes, customer communications and organizational change
Experience with agile development methods and tools
Experience executing user research
Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and build bridges across the organization
Experience working with geographically distributed team
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Analytical skills and experience applying a data-driven approach to product definition and development
Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Specific experience in vehicle rental, used vehicle markets or travel services is desirable.
We expect the starting salary to be around $160,000 with annual bonus and profit sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
