About Senior Procurement Analyst

  Who we're looking for

  The Global Sourcing team helps optimize value for Zendesk, Inc. and ensures our organization has the goods and services they need to succeed. This role will contribute to all aspects of the sourcing process from category assessment, spend management, vendor due diligence, RFx, contract and vendor management across various sourcing categories.

  What you'll be doing

  Key responsibilities for the Strategic Sourcing Analyst include:

  Support spend management and third party sourcing for the following categories : Marketing, GTM, People & Places, Finance, and G&ASpecific project tasks may include market research & analysis, data collection/management, cost modeling, RFx strategy development, RFx creation and management, supplier communications, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance managementSupport contract negotiations for new and existing suppliers partnering with Legal, IT, Enterprise Architecture team and the respective business partnersAssist in decision-making and thoughtful spending guidance to the businessSupport the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key objectives. Those objectives may include savings, process efficiency, supplier consolidation & management, risk reduction & management, improved visibility & control of expendituresDevelop presentations and data reporting for internal partner communications/updatesPerform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements

  What you bring to the role

  Basic Qualifications:

  Good level of English (speaking) so in case that you are interested upload your resume or your LinkedIn profile in english versionBA/BS4+ years proven experienceExcellent quantitative skills with the ability to dissect problems and document/communicateDemonstrated skills in fact-based analyses that drive creative problem solving and proposal preparationStrong skills in contract managementAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detailStrong Excel (Sheets) and PowerPoint (Slides) skillsExperience in Coupa a plus

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Strong communication and presentation skillsAgile and a respected teammate to help the team win collectivelyStrong influencing skills to foster decision making that is best for Zendesk.Proven ability to build and manage relationships with individuals across Zendesk.Experience successfully leading projects that impact and include multiple functional areas
