　　Job Summary:

　　Raytheon is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer to join a high performing team at the center of an important US government function which helps the nation meet its national security strategy. You will lead satellite engineering activities and operations in support of major system acquisition activities in include on-orbit operations, vehicle trending, ground system support and anomaly.

　　Responsibilities to Anticipate:

　　Lead activities and projects in support of satellite readiness, on-orbit operations, and program disposal .

　　Lead activities and be responsible for transmitting, receiving, and logging satellite communications .

　　Interact with and provide daily feedback to senior level stakeholders at both the customer and company level .

　　Lead and maintain responsibility for all aspects of satellite state of health activities .

　　Coordinate with space system developers and other stakeholders regarding the configuration of ground hardware for commanding capabilities .

　　Perform analysis and technical leadership to provide anomaly resolution and resolve any system conflicts .

　　Develop and maintain thorough documentation based on customer guidance, policies, and industry best practices .

　　Train other personnel as required .

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

　　Experience working with Aerospace Programs .

　　Identifying system issues and providing technical advice, guidance and recommendations to senior level leadership team .

　　Developing and mentoring junior engineers in mission operations and data analysis .

　　Written and verbal communication skills with senior leadership and customers .

　　Experience utilizing Perl and or Python Scripting

　　An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance

　　System Integration Experience .

　　Perl and or Python Scripting experience .

　　Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

　　The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
