DescriptionThe Security Captain is responsible for the overall security operation at the Santos remote camps on the North Slope of Alaska. Oversees the efficient delivery of security and infrastructure support services at the job site and provides leadership to a medium-sized workforce. Duties include, but are not limited to workforce management, issuing tasks and post assignments, performing administrative duties (payroll, scheduling, reporting), conducting training, and interacting with the client representative for daily matters related to the execution of the contract. Governs responses to emergency and non-emergency situations.
The Security Captain ensures all functions are performed in compliance with the contracts scope of work, DUS/client policies, post orders, and all applicable laws, regulations and operational procedures.
This position is located in a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska with a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour shifts. Lodging, meals, and transportation between Anchorage and the jobsite are covered by the company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalentFive (5) years of law enforcement experience, applicable military experience, or industrial security experience and at least three (3) years ofexperience in a management/supervisory role.State of Alaska Armed Guard License or ability to obtain.Valid drivers license.Emergency Trauma Technician certification or ability to obtain within 120 days from hire date.Ability to lead with professionalism, respect and integrity at all times.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Strong decision making and incident/event management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeAs a condition of employment, must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and a post-offer physical and functional capacity evaluation (FCE).BENEFITS
