The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.)On-going learning opportunities within a diverse, inclusive and rewarding work environmentOnsite Cafeteria, remodeled with new equipment Fitness Center, and Outdoor fitness trackPosition Responsibilities:Analysis Tasks will include but are not limited to:Simulation of torque blending in parallel hybrid system.Controller/logic tuning for fuel consumption, charging and vehicle range.Thermal models of power electronics, batteries, and powertrain components.Battery Management System modeling.Multidomain powertrain models coupling engine, e-machine, batteries, and electronic components.Development of toolsets for evolving architectures.Position Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Master's degree preferred.Simulation experience using Matlab/Simulink required.Proven history in the development, correlation, operation and maintenance of analytical toolsets.Experience in interrogation and manipulation using 3D Modeling softwareCFD and/or FEA experience preferred on commercially available and proprietary software.Automotive and Heavy-Duty vehicle experience required. Military land vehicle experience preferred.Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and componentsDemonstrated ability to work independently.Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.Must be a US Person.
