Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Software Developer -Supervisory/Deputy Manager. This position is for an individual who candesign functionality for PeopleSoft systems and oversee development activitiesfor that functionality. They will be expected to create business processmodels (BPMs)/process workflows, provide input for developmentstandards and work within the approximately 40-member software developmentcommunity to enforce those standards. This addition to our ohana will provideinput on community training and leadership development, participate in thedesign of the environment landscape and upgrade strategies with associatedschedule planning and coordination of resources to execute the schedule, andcreate and maintain Contract Deliverables required by the client that caninclude software development plans and migration strategies. This positionwill require direct interfacing with the client's leadership, and will bein a supervisory position for timesheets and other human resource tasks ofsprint team development leads. They will assist in leading a community ofdevelopers with the responsibility to increase quality and velocity, andwork with each developer in their career progression. This position will workbeside the senior development manage (community manager) to accomplishduties and be a backup for that manager.
Responsibilities

Management mayassign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due toreasonable accommodation or other reasons.Create BPMs for strategic processes and environment landscapesWork within the community to create and enforce development standardsCreate Contract deliverables for the client that can include softwaredevelopment plans, migration strategies, environment landscapes, andpotentially othersConduct software demonstrations with customers/internal resources to showstandards or software functionalityParticipate in client taskers on strategic execution on how to accomplishgoals within the communitySpeak authoritatively on development strategies and standards related to aprimarily PeopleSoft and SQL technical environmentProvide design & development guidance to sprint teamsParticipate and help shape the peer review process and development standardsParticipate or lead in client meetings which can require a walkthrough of ourstandards and development strategies and other leadership type meetingsResponsible for research and implementing methods to increase velocity amongthe developersResponsible for ensuring development resources are expanding their technicalskillsManage direct report individuals including conducting performance reviews,ensuring appropriate tasking, training, and mentoring, ensuringtimesheet compliance, support recruiting and staffing initiatives, andother management dutiesProject delivery will periodically require working evenings and weekends,sometimes with little advance notice.

Education and Experience:This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution,or equiv lent relevant business experience.The successful candidate should have at least one year of professionalexperience relevant to this position, and a minimum of 6 years developmentexperience.Experience in or work for the U.S. military or Department of Defense is alsohighly desirable.Clearance: This position requires ability to pass a T3 backgroundinvestigation.
