CTG is seeking to fill a Senior PeopleSoft Developer opening for our client in New York, NY.
Location : New York, NY (Hybrid remote)
Duration : 6 months
Overview:
The Senior PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for the review of technical design, performing code review of the development and unit testing all the development activities involved in the upgrade project. He/she will work as a techno-functional expert with good understanding of business processes for developing new applications for PeopleSoft (HCM).
Duties:
• Performing technical oversight and assessment of application and system development projects to ensure technical integrity and compliance with design requirements,
• Conducting appropriate technical reviews and prepare formal evaluations of all key deliverables and work products associated with the design, coding and build of the application or software configuration including the application architecture, technical specifications, application coding, unit testing, and integration testing,
• Working closely with Technical Lead to group PeopleSoft objects into work units based on the related components, identify work packages and perform the development estimates based on the work packages, and manage the developers to work on specific objects needed for the work unit,
• Working closely with Technical Lead to create the development project plan, distribute work package to the development team members, manage and review the work products, create design documents for new customizations related to new release and coordinate with various teams throughout the project life cycle.
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules.
• Working experience and understanding of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39 with fluid and Drop Zone technologies) and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.59).
• Must have Implementation, design, and customization experience for PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Recruiting, Talent Acquisition Management, Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration, NA Payroll, Absence Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Position management, etc.
• Experience on performing data/code analysis, creation, and review of technical designs, and documentation from the functional design, coding, unit testing, and debugging various PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Experience in customizing COBOL stored procedures
• Programming experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Package, and Application engine, Drop Zones, Event Mapping, Workflow, Integration Broker and SQR.
• Skills in PeopleSoft Search Framework Integration using Elastic search.
• Integrate PeopleSoft Candidate gateway with AI Powered Resume Data Extraction.
• Knowledge of the concept of reducing biases in talent acquisition to widen talent pools.
• Knowledge of Acknowledgement Framework and PeopleSoft eSignature to capture acceptance of candidates and employees as they, agree to terms and conditions.
• Ability to Extend Support Assistive Technology features delivered by PeopleSoft using web technologies.
• Enhance Fluid Interface Flexibility using cascading style sheets (CSS3), HTML5, and JavaScript with PeopleSoft Branding.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Data Distribution Framework to integrate PeopleSoft with Machine Learning (ML) Platforms using Elastic Search flattened data.
• Experience in Fluid Framework Attachments with authorization architecture.
• Possess detailed Knowledge of file storage architecture in PeopleSoft.
• Experience in Managing Relational-Formatted Documents like XML and JSON.
• Knowledge migrating from classic workflow notification to push notifications.
• Experience with Data Migration Workbench and Application Data Sets.
• Skilled in the Related Content Configuration, Related Content Layout and Related Content Services.
• Experience in implementing PeopleSoft Activity Guide.
• Experience developing complex interfaces into legacy and 3rd party systems
• Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Report Distribution Tools, such as VISTA Plus, LRS products etc.
• Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementations
• Experience working within a matrix environment.
• Certified in Oracle
• CA Scheduler Tool
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft Candidate Gateway seamlessly with NYC Job Portals like DOIIT.
• Preferred Knowledge of New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS) Talent Acquisition Management, Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration, Absence Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Position management, etc.
Education:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or in a Technical/Business Discipline is required.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
