Job Description Summary:
The fundamental purpose of all People Professionals is to champion better work and working lives.
The Senior People Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated geographies. The Senior People Operations Partner engages proactively with the leadership and supports them achieving their goals. He/she works to create a culture and environment that makes Rocketeers feel happy and proud to work for Rocket Software. And ensures overall excellence and compliance of People related processes across the employee life cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Works with Senior Leaders and Global People Business Partners on strategic decisions and People related projects and solutions.
Focuses on maximizing the value of employees and fostering relationships and building communities to boost employee wellness and retention
Manages employee relations strategy, policy and practice in country/region and works to resolve complex employee/ manager relation issues.
Meets business and local legal requirements. Develops and implement approach and identify moderate to high-level risks and associated mitigation
Acts as a sounding board to senior leaders and their teams
Uses business acumen, previous experiences, and human capital insights to influence and shape discussions with local leadership teams
Leads planning and implementation of smaller people operations projects, change management efforts and corporate initiatives into the business
Proactively proposes new practices and business processes to improve ways of working and continuously works to ensure conflicts or disengagement does not happen
Acts as People Operations partner — drawing together key resources and expertise across the wider People Team to execute business plans and people strategy as one People Team
Takes a wider, holistic view of the business and uses People tools to achieve goals
Partners with legal and/or represents with works councils and local labor authorities
(Co-)Leads planning and implementation of larger-scale People projects across different countries, change management efforts and corporate initiatives into the business
Provides direct feedback to senior leaders on style and behaviors to enable personal growth/insight
Conducts analysis and supports execution of long-term people-related strategic plans
Assesses organizational capabilities to deliver talent strategy for the business
Required Experience/Qualifications:
6+ years of related human resources experience or related work experience
5+ years of People Partner experience or related work experience
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
Ability to influence senior level leaders within the organization on significant HR matters
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
Strong organizational development skills
Advanced knowledge of employment practices
Continuously stays up to date with new and changing legislation and company policies
Preferred Qualifications:
M&A experience is highly desirable but not requiredCore Knowledge:
Business Acumen – understanding your organization, the commercial context and the wider world of work
Analytics and creating value – understanding analytics and it use in creating insight and measuring value
Digital working – understanding the digital environment and how to apply technology in a people context
Change – understanding how to effectively enable change
Culture and behavior – understanding people’s behavior and creating the right organization culture
People practice – understanding the range of people practices being an effective people professional
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field
Travel Requirements:
<10% Minimal travel
