About the Role
This role will have a dual focus. Primary focus will be on leading and managing the leadership development program at Trimble for future leaders within the company. This program, entitled "Leadership Circles," is a 12 month program that is delivered within each of the 7 sectors (large business units) within Trimble. Each program has a small number of identified future leaders who are taken through an experience of learning, connection, and growth through various learning sessions, cohort meetings, and activities designed to help future leaders apply new skills and capabilities. The program manager will be responsible for working with various People Experience (HR) and business leaders to identify future leaders, organize the various learning sessions, and help the businesses focus on ways to focus on the career development of each participant.
The secondary focus will be in helping teach and facilitate a program targeted at "director-level" leaders at Trimble. This program needs to scale to ensure that leaders at this level can participate and learn critical skills and leadership capabilities to help them in their middle-management role. This will require partnering with the lead of the people development organization.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Program Management:Effectively manage a global program with a large number of participants (100+ per year)Keep things on schedule in partnering with each business to deliver a great experience and program for both the leaders and the participantsPlan effectively for future events, classes, and sessionsCommunicate effectively throughout the program with leaders, participants, and People Experience partnersBe able to present the status and results of the program to various stakeholder groupsFacilitation of Leadership Curriculum:Be the primary point person on the delivery of leadership content and curriculum that is tailored to high potential leadersInvite other leaders to participate to draw out connection and learningExcellent facilitation skills and be able to connect with different levels within the organizationDesired Partnership Characteristics:
