Job Title: Senior Payroll Accounting Consultant

　　Pay: $45hr- $48hr (paid weekly- 40hrs)

　　Location: 100% Remote

　　Interview & Start ASAP

　　Engagement: 3-6 months (would hire or extend an individual who is performing)

　　Job Duties:

　　Responsible for payroll and benefits accounting, analysis, and reporting.

　　Responsible for ensuring payroll and benefits transactions are accurate, appropriately booked, and reconciled.

　　Manage month-end/quarter end close.

　　Analyze monthly P&L and Balance sheet activity.

　　Create and post journal entries for general, payroll, and benefits accounting.

　　Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations inside of Blackline.

　　Ensure monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts are accurate, submitted in a timely fashion, and fully supported with proper documentation.

　　Complete monthly tie outs for balance sheet movement as well as maintain commentary on balance sheet/income statement flux.

　　Manage tight deadlines for close and reporting purposes.

　　Document/update processes and continue to look for new ways to improve accurate and efficient practices.

　　Collaborate with external/internal auditors and tax.

　　Train backup personnel within the department to ensure responsibilities are dually covered.

　　Be backup for other positions from time to time as part of job enhancement and business need.

　　Ad hoc projects and task as required.

　　Skills/ Qualifications:

　　Experience with Earnings / GL / Deductions codes

　　3+ years payroll accounting experience

　　Workday and SAP experience

　　Bachelors Degree Preferred

　　Prior manufacturing industry experience
