  CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a senior .NET developer who wants to continue to expand their expertise in software development while working on innovative programs that support our nation’s defense. This position will join our team and work is in a fast-paced, agile development environment supporting the Department of Defense. You will perform work as a member of a large, highly productive team and contribute to building and supporting systems used to support the Department's financial management processes.

  You will work with our business systems analysts to understand business needs and translate those into .NET solutions for our government client. You will participate in the planning, design, development, and support of new financial management applications to modernize legacy systems. You will also work independently to support other software development initiatives and projects. You will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success.

  More About the Role

  In this role you will

  Participate on an Agile team in the planning, design, development, and support of .NET/C# based web applications.

  Work closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.

  Design, develop, unit test, debug, document, and maintain program code.

  Support formal testing before code is deployed to production.

  Deliver development efforts that result in well organized and structured deliverables aimed at being easy to understand by others on the development team.

  Articulate ideas and communicate verbally and in writing task status, unit test results, technical concepts, issues, and questions with the team.

  Work independently on special software development projects

  You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience

  10+ years software development experience

  7+ years development experience using C# and Microsoft Visual Studio

  3+ years JavaScript development experience

  Experience with jQuery

  Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)

  Experience with .NET/C# Rest API development

  Experience with Rest API consumption from a .NET Core/6 application

  Experience developing web applications using .NET Core 3 or .NET 5/6/7

  Experience with mitigation of Static Code Analysis vulnerability scan findings

  Experience working with Git based code repositories and usage patterns (branching, tagging, committing).

  Experience working with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies

  Minimum current DoD Secret clearance

  Must be US Citizen

  These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  CompTIA Security+ certification

  Experience with Azure DevOps

  Experience working with SQL languages and database procedural logic

  Experience working with Oracle and/or Postgres Databases

  Demonstrable knowledge of common software and development patterns (i.e., Dependency Injection)

  Experience with DoD .NET software/web development
