What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
Manage the inspection and maintenance of building and grounds, including renovations, expansions and improvements.
Establish priorities and sets expectations for the maintenance staff, contractors and subcontractors.
Manage maintenance budget and expenditures, identifying variances and proactively implementing corrective actions.
Oversee facility systems and associated equipment, including preventive maintenance, operating and testing systems and equipment, etc.
Conduct performance systems and equipment studies and makes recommends for enhancements.
Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by championing adherence to established standards and procedures and complying with legal codes and regulations.
Your Education Should Be…
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
May consider experience in lieu of degree depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms.
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
5+ years of related experience; a minimum of 2 years must be in a maintenance manager role in a manufacturing environment, preferably heavy industrial.
PLC and CNC automation experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of managing a maintenance budget and executing short and long-term strategic plans.
Experience developing and implementing administrative policies and procedural changes.
Proven experience working with engineering resources in the design, manufacture and implementation of production fixtures and equipment.
Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
