  Position Description:

  As a Senior .NET Developer at CGI, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using .NET frameworks.   Your future duties and responsibilities:

  Architect, design, and develop robust .NET-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle.

  Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to existing processes and methodologies.

  Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and foster a culture of best practices within the development team.

  Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

  Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, showcasing proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies.

  Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and design patterns.

  Strong understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.

  Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.

  Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
