This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. We are seeking hands-on Senior software engineer that share our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. As a team member in our team, you’ll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a team member you will own the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

Responsibilities

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to translate requirements into design specifications for APIs

Highly proficient in API Lifecycle management – Requirement analysis, Design, Implementation, Unit test case preparation and execution, Code reviews and Delivery

Ability to create User Interface by following UI specifications to create advanced User Interfaces.

Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

Proficiency with any public cloud services and infrastructure. Experience developing Cloud based SaaS based applications preferred

Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments.

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.

Plan, track, manage deliverables on short term sprints, and long-term software deployments.

Ability to work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating with the scrum team on daily-basis.

Participate in all phases of Agile methodology (planning, grooming, coding sprint items)

Health care product development experience preferred

Technical Skills

4+ years of developing enterprise distributed and/or cloud native Systems.

Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java. Proficiency in Java frameworks, SDK’s

4+ years of experience in API development using microservices frameworks such as Micronaut, Helidon, Spring boot, Spring Cloud.

Must have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployments. Shepherd and terraform.

Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices

Experience creating UI using React, JavaScript, CSS, etc.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
