  Lead and oversee sales-related Canadian Banking Contact Centre projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

  Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:

  Leads and drives a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

  Manage multiple medium-sized projects by planning and scheduling resources, developing and tracking detailed project plans, managing the progress and resolution of project issues, monitoring project health continuously and independently, and routinely securing consensus from stakeholders.

  Lead or participate in any/all stages of the project lifecycle including managing individual and project deliverables/scope/timelines, performing root cause analysis, providing subject matter expertise, preparing detailed project documentation, providing business analysis, managing pilots, and providing project implementation and post-implementation support. Includes proactively identifying and tracking project risk and developing mitigation plans to manage the risk.

  Support budget and cost factor activities for each project, setting up and obtaining required approvals for project budgets, controlling and managing expenses, and acting as a control point to monitor all financial aspects during a project. Inclusive ensuring the project benefits realization process is followed during the life of the project.

  Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

  Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

  Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vision/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team.

  Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  Strong project management and organization capabilities

  Ability to multi-task managing multiple projects owned by themselves as well as by their team.

  Project Management certification

  Proven ability to manage complex and multiple projects with tight and conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

  Leadership skillswith proven coaching and the ability to motivate others.

  Sound working knowledge of contract centre strategies, operations, technology, and industry trends.

  Strong communication skills (written, verbal, PowerPoint) and the ability to engender a participative process across a culturally diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.

  Strong initiative, forward-thinking, and creative problem-solving skills with a customer focus.

  Proven ability to influence and coordinate across stakeholders.
