What´s the role?
The role of Portfolio Demand Manager is to work with all requests to the T&I demand management queue to determine the type and relative size of the request and ensure that the appropriate team members are assigned to the request.

Manage the portfolio management process for Puerto Rico which includes the following:
Managing Intake
Managing Prioritization the demand by evaluating project value
Portfolio Optimization to identify the optimal grouping of projects that maximize the risk-adjusted portfolio value at a given budgetary level
Portfolio Planning - the process to optimize the sequencing and timing of approved projects based on resource constraints and dependencies
Resource Capacity Planning- the process of comparing future resource utilization of project resources against available capacity to do work
Portfolio Risk Management - assesses the risk nature of projects and manages portfolio level risks
Portfolio Reporting and Analytics - Processes to communicate about all aspects of project and portfolio progress
Portfolio Value Management– processes to evaluate, measure, and track project benefits at the portfolio level
Project Monitoring – processes to measure and track project health and performance
Portfolio Budget Monitoring
Portfolio Governance– the decision-making process to select and prioritize project work
Stakeholder Management
Portfolio Management Tool Definition Manage the development and configuration of the demand management tool set (Jira & EPC)
Collaborate with Opco Commercial organization, Systems Architecture, B2C & B2B Delivery, IT Delivery, IT Operations regarding the progress of the demand request and transition into the delivery organization.
What do you need?
Preferred education/ qualifications:
Bachelor level, Information Technology and/or comparable technical engineering degree
Desired business management background
Languages: English and Spanish
Knowledge & Experience:
Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience
Demonstrable experience of working in a large telco in a complex operational environment collaborating with cross-functional teams and customer facing skills
Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior level management.
Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
Experience in managing both waterfall and agile projects.
