Position Summary:The Senior Manager Order Forecasting will be focused on leading a regional forecast planning and communication team that guides the ION system and frontline in creating their orders for BBU product. The role will oversee the data governance from account, brand and customer teams into BBU systems that present a suggested product order to the delivery frontline. The analysis, communication and validation of this data is time sensitive and is key to a large portion of BBUs success and ability to service customers and consumers with our product offerings. This role will operate at a regional level as a peer to other Senior Managers of Order Forecasting in other regions to create best practices for the Order Forecasting Specialists and the frontline in terms of order and delivery behaviors. The role will also aid as a liaison between the technology, brand and account teams to inform order forecasting specialists of events, system changes or other operational considerations for key events and market execution.
Key Job Responsibilities:Lead regional team of order forecasting specialists focused on taking customer promotion, new product launch, store opening / closing, holiday and other special circumstance or specific weekly plans and translate that into volume modifications and exception information for frontline ordering.Coordinates on major initiatives with national and regional customer teams, corporate brand teams, manufacturing and supply chain teams to understand key initiatives in terms of scope, priority, and expected outcome. Manage potential discrepancies between the customer and brand planning teams to set expectations based on forecasting outcomes guided by data and experience.Assist order forecasting specialists in data analysis of events and suggested volume orders for events and weekly ordering by the frontline.Assist and guide order forecasting specialists in communications to the frontline and other stakeholders about events and product volume ordering needs to ensure the best possible success in achieving profitability and growth while maintaining high freshness of DSD product.Lead regional team in measurement of quality through data governance process for inputs needed by the forecast system.Responsibilities include collaboration with other stakeholders and collecting data from multiple sources, ensuring the accurate collection and entry of information to produce accurate forecasts as well as to measure execution. Guide the development team as needed with inputs on data entity expansion.Provides inputs to DSDE Technology team members, technical staff as needed to identify, outline, and collaborate on potential enhancements, corrections and adjustments of forecasting algorithm and system software or communication technologies to better achieve growth, freshness and route operations. Providing insight and analysis on potential technology solutions proposed by the development and product teams as well as collaboration on new concepts.Support system maintenance to ensure accurate representation and operation of route configurations, store, scheduling and product alignment.Ensures growth and optimization of frontline awareness, market share and/or specified initiatives as well as providing mark t execution information to supply, brand and account teams.Reviews the competitive marketplace and makes recommendations for adjustments to operational activities based upon identified industry information and best practices.Develops effective working relationships with stakeholders including local sales leadership to achieve targeted goals and/or solutions.Interacts with peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs.Drives consistency in customer planning and analysis - KPIs, ROI, Frontline effectiveness, scorecards, dashboards and forecasts, creating and managing these metrics for the team.Travel is required - 10 %.#LI-JC1Position Requirements:

Education and Work History:Bachelor's level degree preferred in business, marketing, marketing research or statistics / mathematics. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
Ideal candidate will possess:5 - 7 years of experience in business management or technical analysis functions which may include 5 years of experience in product marketing, sales forecasting, supply chain optimization or equivalent technical field.Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required, as well as proficiency with PROMPT and Margin Minder or other data analysis and dashboarding tools.
