Job Purpose
The Director of North East Asia Marketing plays a pivotal role managing all aspects of marketing, with a deep understanding of building integrated marketing communication plans including reputation, demand generation, customer engagement and enablement programs, in addition to leading and developing a world class regional marketing team. This critical role is a key member of the AVEVA leadership team working closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the global marketing and sales organizations to maximize marketing performance. This role has direct responsibility and accountability for market-level marketing strategy, execution and performance and is the key interface and partner for the marketing organization working with senior sales leadership. They must have the ability to manage live and virtual events, press or analyst coverage, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, channel/partner marketing, and the creation of localized or translated content. The role is also responsible for operational tasks such as market-level reporting, sales enablement, budget management, and third-party partnerships and relationships.
Principal Accountabilities
Determine the marketing strategy for the market, design and implement an integrated reputation, demand, engagement, and enablement plan to support the business go-to-market strategies.
Lead a team of marketing resources including recruiting, retaining, and developing the team.
Work to establish a common campaign framework aligned to the target market / sales segmentation model for the marketing function that reflects the needs and interests of the local market; including localization of global campaigns.
Interlock with market sales leaders to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews to understand segmentation and prioritization.
Build the marketing strategy for the indirect business, including working with the partner marketing ecosystem to leverage our sales and support partners and consulting and service partners to increase our reach with co-marketing strategies, as well as build out our developer community.
Work with sales, lead development representatives (LDRs), and channel operations to define an end-to-end revenue management process and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Create a culture of segmentation and orchestration with the goal of improving customer experience.
Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of reputation, demand and engagement marketing activities in terms of KPIs aligned to go-to-market strategies.
Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs.
Ensure all field marketing programs comply with local data privacy and other regulations.
Manage, adhere to and optimize the field marketing budget
