  Position Overview

  The Internal & Executive Communications, Sr Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies to inform and engage team members across the Information Technology (IT) group regarding strategies, initiatives, and change management. This individual will develop and lead the delivery of content from various communication channels and work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders. This role will determine the timing, frequency, and optimal channel for delivery of content.

  Essential Duties

  include but are not limited to the following:

  Understand the company and business unit strategies and impact to develop and execute short- and long-term internal communications strategies.Coach and advise senior leaders on effective communication.Collaborate and execute in a matrix environment driving results of effective communication resulting in communication consumption and understanding.Develop and edit content from the senior leadership team and other internal stakeholders to ensure communication is clear, consistent, and engaging.Drive ongoing modernization of the business unit's communication tools and processes; monitor communication success and recommend changes in approach to increase effectiveness.Utilizes change management best practices within communication approaches and content to facilitate understanding and acceptance of change.Demonstrate exceptional communication skills (written and interpersonal); ability to identify the right balance of information that will benefit the internal audience and align with overall communication strategy.Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and experience developing and implementing strong, clear and measurable internal communications goals, strategies, and plans that are aligned with driving business outcomes.Understanding and usage of digital media platforms as well as a record of success leveraging emerging communications technologies.Demonstrate ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders and manage/influence through collaboration across multiple functions.Adaptable, open to change and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances.Demonstrate effective project management abilities; willingness to manage several projects simultaneously.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.Regular and reliable attendance.Ability to work designated schedule.Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.

  Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field.8+ years of progressive experience in a communications role.Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  Salary Range:

  $125,000.00 - $201,000.00

  The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
