  How you'll make an impact:

  SiriusXM is seeking an email operations manager with a strong background in digital marketing and project management to join the Marketing Operations team. The individual will be a key contributor to driving operational excellence in our email channel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across internal marketing and technology teams, as well as external vendors in a consultative manner to lead optimization efforts such as the use of templates and centralized assets and championing efforts such as send time optimization and the implementation of enhanced metadata.

  What you'll do:

  SiriusXM is seeking an email operations manager with a strong background in digital marketing and project management to join the Marketing Operations team. The individual will be a key contributor to driving operational excellence in our email channel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across internal marketing and technology teams, as well as external vendors in a consultative manner to lead optimization efforts such as the use of templates and centralized assets and championing efforts such as send time optimization and the implementation of enhanced metadata.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Lead efforts to optimize email channel communications:Implementing responsive design/mobile optimized standards (no code experience needed)Consult at a project level to assess templatization opportunities and recommend an appropriate approach to solve specific projectImplement and measure success of standard processes for intake and production of campaign effortsImplement and scale the use of metadata to enhance campaign level reportingChampion the use of send-time optimization and consult with marketing teams to identify action plans to test into successful use casesParticipate in efforts to define and roll out fatigue rulesMonitor vendor service level agreements and ensure best practices are implementedSchedule/conduct weekly email operations update meetings and schedule quarterly business reviews with key vendorsConduct root cause analysis when issues ariseEnsure security policies and practices are met at each vendorReport on health of email deliverability and compile weekly channel reporting for managementManage multiple vendors, including weekly meetings and partnering with marketing stakeholdersChampion adoption of new technologiesProactively identify process efficiencies and make recommendationsPull reports on ad-hoc basisConsult on email best practicesSupport the development of an email reporting dashboard

  What you'll need:

  Bachelor's degree (or above) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredStrong knowledge of CAN-SPAM and email regulatory compliance6+ years in B2C or B2B digital marketing with a focus in email production/channel managementExperience in both client and agency roles preferredExperience working in email delivery platforms, such as Salesforce, Oracle and AdobeExperience working closely with Legal/Security/Compliance teams is strongly preferredExperience working in a matrixed organization with a commitment to serve all "internal customers"Dedication to striving for operational excellence and flawless executionExperience developing formal business/functional requirements documentationExperience developing and tracking/monitoring KPIs and analyzing resultsExcellent interpersonal communication skills and able to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences - from developers and database admins, to marketing managers and executivesStrong, proven organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented. Must be able to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets and campaign objectives at once.Must be able to work independently and in a team environment; successful track record managing complex, large-scale web projects with multiple stakeholdersAbility to think creatively and innovatively, while creating actionable insightsAble to switch effortlessly from strategic planning and consultation to detailed executionAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

  At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $94,000 to $125,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
