Position Summary:At BBU, the consumer insights group seeks people who endeavor to create a Competitive Advantage through Insights.The Senior Manager of Consumer Insights is a leader within the Marketing team.This person will champion the Consumer and Foodservice Operator with enthusiasm and thoughtfully business-savvy ways.The leader will support/set the research strategy, define, oversee and/or execute and manage research methods, tools, and actionable, inspiring output.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this individual will be seen as a trusted partner, advisor, a strong voice for the Consumer/Operator, and an expert on the market landscape.Ultimately responsible for driving/leading the acquisition of critical insights and strategic recommendations to drive growth initiatives for assigned brands/categories.The position is responsible for displaying a research mindset to support and drive the business, including building formal frameworks and methodologies while leveraging existing resources to build brand equity and drive profitable growth.The ideal candidate will be proficient in driving insights from syndicated research, qualitative and quantitative data and making those insights come to life in presentations.This individual will champion a data-centric perspective and approach to business decisions across the organization.This position sits in the Marketing Center of Excellence (MCOE), reports to the Senior Director of Consumer Insights and supports the Bimbo Bakehouse business (covering alternative distribution channels, including foodservice, in-store bakery, and dairy).
Key Job Responsibilities:Champion insights strategy and vision to support business needs and contribute to overall business strategy and thought leadership.Critical areas impacted by this role will include product development, category management, capital investment initiatives, pricing, and promotion.Create streamlined reports using various sources, compiling results into a concise, meaningful, actionable format.Develop a research approach and analyze and synthesize results from existing research studies, syndicated data, market audits, and internal data, along with other internal/external sources.Translate findings into business insights and action plan to support business performance.Synthesize relevant trends from secondary resources to identify changing consumer/operator behaviors.Share insights with broader marketing team on a regular basis.Collaborate with key business partners (leadership, sales, marketing, etc.) to identify insight needs and develop customized research solutions.Participate in key customer/national account presentations highlighting insight work and bringing selling stories to life.Serve as an internal consultant for critical stakeholders to develop business strategies rich in consumer/operator insights.Collaborate with the team to build answers and outcomes and translate business needs into research plans.Develop an inventory of data tools and resources and a creative process to leverage and engage.Empower and coach associates to utilize where appropriate.Drive portfolio and brand-level consumer learning agendas to get to the heart of business situations while exploring new str tegic opportunities with a curious mind to find new connections for profitable growth and brand building.Support the development and rollout of critical initiatives to propel the organization to more consumer-centric thinking and activations, such as the BBU Way of Consumer Insights, inclusive of established standards, methodologies, and consistent metrics that matter to driving improved business outcomes.Help guide and mentor all functional team partners in building their capabilities while creating career advancement opportunities.#LI-JP1Position Requirements:

Prefer experience attending customer meetings as well as presenting insights.Ability to multi-task, organize time, and lead groups with minimal direction.Ability to manage people without having direct organizational authority.Self-starter with proven ability to think strategically, manage complexity and problem-solve.Positive, curious, creative and innovative thinker with the ability to energize and influence.Education and Work History:A Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)in business, psychology, social studies, anthropology, or similar (6+ years in analytics/insights, showing career progression)Experienced insights expert in the Foodservice industry, preferably in a B2B capacity (eg. foodservice manufacturer, distributor, national chain, non-commercial operator or contract management company).Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources.
