Job Description:This position provides senior executive level administrativeand project support to Legal Department leaders and other designated membersof the Legal Department. Depending on the assignment, this highly visibleposition directly interacts with the senior leaders of IntermountainHealthcare. This position manages projects for either the Governance Office orone of the departments divisions and performs office duties such as schedulingmeetings, typing, filing, prioritizing and distributing incomingcorrespondence, and answering telephones. In addition, the incumbentcreates agendas, drafts presentations, prepares and distributesdepartment, customer, and/or board materials, and documents minutesfor meetings. The incumbent must use judgment in composing correspondence,preparing reports and projects, scheduling meetings and appointments, anddetermining the appropriate person with whom to address incoming requests,questions or other correspondence. This position works independently withlittle supervision and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Scope
As a Sr. Legal Analyst you need to know how to:Facilitate the intake and review of contract requests and serve as a point ofcontact for referral source contracting matters at assigned caresite(s)/region(s)/system services business units.- Accurately populate and modify approved contract templates and other formdocuments, such as physician employment agreements, professional servicesagreements, letters, legal memos, and other written documents which arecustomary for in-house legal departments and integrated health systems.Facilitate the intake and review of other routine requests for legal services.Provide cross-functional support to Legal Division in other areas asdirected, including Operations, Risk, Litigation, Real Estate,Transactions, and Governance.Create, refine, and update process workflows, educational materials,checklists, and other tools which improve the service and quality of legalservices provided to SCL Health.Develop, maintain expertise, and actively use contract management softwareprograms and other software applications available to the Legal Division.Maintain familiarity with relevant SCL Health Policies and Procedures andprovide support to related internal approval processes.Support, serve as a liaison to, educate, and actively collaborate withcare site-based leadership teams, service line directors, contractcoordinators, and compliance/privacy officers.Provide training to internal clients as directed.Perform legal, industry, and other research as directed.Work with outside legal counsel as directed.Maintain and provide periodic verbal or written status reports and updates onopen and pending matters during regular operational meetings.

Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of two (2) years of related experience in a similar roleExperience populating and reviewing contracts and legal documents fromtemplatesExperience managing and organizing legal matters and documentation
Preferred QualificationsParalegal experienceAssociates or Bachelors DegreeCertified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)At least five (5) years of experience serving clients in the healthcareindustryExperience developing and managing internal workflows and approval processesin-house legal department
