Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to be a part of our team in Houston, Texas. This role will require you to manage accounts payable tasks, including data entry and invoice processing. This role will also necessitate the reconciliation of invoices with purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the data entry of accounts payable with high precision

• Process invoices and validate them against purchase orders

• Accurately maintain and update customer records

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required

• Ensure all accounts payable processes are executed efficiently

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions

• Utilize knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Coding Invoices for daily tasks

• Assist in other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) systems

• Experience in coding invoices

• Proficiency in data entry tasks with attention to detail

• Experience in invoice processing and ensuring timely payments

• Knowledge and understanding of purchase orders and their impact on the accounts payable process

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
