　　About the role and what you'll be doing:

　　As the Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will bring a passion for automation and simplifying processes for your internal customers. You will take complex concepts, complex technology and enable people who don't have the same depth of knowledge to be able to use it and understand it. You will be a teacher of sorts who comes to the table with a unique combination of a deep understanding of database technologies, combined with a solid background in infrastructure, networking and virtualization and automation.

　　You will be an integral part of the Hybrid Cloud product organization bringing significant advances to the Ensono product & technology portfolio making it easier for our operations teams to deliver to our customers.

　　Key Areas of Focus for this Role

　　Primary focus on Database technologies.Work with the Ensono Database Product Manager to enhance existing services and develop new services.Provide technical advice and governance for the Ensono operational teams.Develop and document reference architectural standards.Deliver standard service documentation to facilitate operational service introduction.Develop automation for deployment, ongoing management, and operational service delivery.Drive continual efficiency improvements via process and automation improvement.

　　Your experience and skills

　　Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL.Experience with delivering Database services on the VMware vSphere virtualisation platform.Experience with delivering Database services (IaaS and PaaS) on Public Cloud platforms.Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and Clustering.Experience with Linux Operating Systems.Experience with Database monitoring solutions (BMC, Datadog).Experience with Infrastructure Automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.Experience with scripting languages such a PowerShell.Understanding of Agile Working Methodology & Environment.
