Senior Frontend Software Engineer

　　Location: Office-Based California / Home-Based US

　　Position Summary:

　　The successful candidate will be part of Bentley’s Infrastructure IoT Software Development group, implementing new features and solutions for IoT in monitoring critical infrastructure.

　　Your Day-to-Day:

　　Develop software systems for a fast-growing, disruptive Big Data & IoT department

　　Take ownership of key products and features—from software design to project planning and deployment

　　Strong proficiency with React and/or Angular

　　Experience with Git, npm, AWS, and build & deployment tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.

　　This role does not require travel.

　　Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).

　　What You Bring to The Team:

　　5+ years of professional experience developing web applications

　　Extensive experience with JavaScript and one or more major frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)

　　Expert skills in Typescript, HTML 5, CSS (SASS/LESS)

　　Experience with Node.js

　　Experience developing cross-browser, responsive web applications; mobile development experience a plus

　　Experience consuming data via REST APIs and WebSockets

　　Knowledge of Agile, TDD, CI, CD, and DevOps processes

　　Experience with UX design concepts

　　Ability to translate wireframes into prototypes and production-ready interfaces

　　Can work with backend and product teams to ensure UI dependencies are communicated and understood

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Self-motivated with the ability to work individually and as part of a team

　　Able to collaborate in an open, multi-disciplinary, and globally dispersed team environment
