Position Description: Johnson & Johnson MedTech Canada is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA)‐ OPEX, located in Markham, ON.
This SFA role supports the JJMT Commercial organization as a key business partner that provides financial leadership across Planning and Forecast Updates, Reporting, and Performance Analytics. The position fosters growth and supports Selling & Marketing (S&M) investment decisions/prioritization while ensuring continuous harmonization with other cross sector and regional OPEX team members. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders to support deliverables, projects and ad‐hoc analysis.It will require engaging business partners using data and analytics to influence and shape business decisions that support both short and long‐term strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial support to the Business Unit ‐ Commercial Organization (commercial, marketing and SCG business partners) driving accountability and action from our business partners to deliver commitments and capture and execute on opportunities including:
Lead OPEX, Commissions and related Headcount reporting with Commercial Business Unit Finance (BUF) leaders (CFO, Managers) to evaluate actuals and proactively address potential R&O's in support of the JJMT Selling & Marketing organization.
Lead plan update conversations with Business Partners along with templates, submission process’ and timing for OPEX, Commissions and Headcount
Providing accurate, timely, insightful and meaningful financial analysis to stakeholders helping to proactively identify risks & opportunities, understand & manage P&L variances in the area of OPEX, Commissions and Headcount.
Develop strong business partnerships with cross‐functional areas including Sales, Marketing, and SCG to support the business in delivery of financial commitments and execution of business strategies (navigate the matrix)
Support completion of Contribution PnL tool to draw business insights
Help educate and make better informed decisions with Business Partners to drive value creation for the organization
Analyze and provide decision support on regional growth and investment opportunities
Collaborate with Global Services (GS) and BU Center of Excellence (CoE) for month end closing process, including input on business specific accruals
Ensure that the principles and elements of the J&J Credo, business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to in all aspects of the job responsibilities
Lead special projects and continuous finance initiatives, ad hoc analysis and performance insights
Qualifications
Education :
University degree is required
Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA or CA) or at senior level of program is preferred
Minimum of3 years of accounting/finance and business partnering experience is required
Experiences and Skills:
Excellent communication & business partnering skills including:o Engage business partners using data and analysis to influence and shape business decisions that support the short and long‐term goals

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is required
