*This position will receive an additional $2 per hour for working in a resort area.

　　JOB SUMMARY

　　Produce Clerks provide exceptional guest service. Their primary role is to greet guests and stock merchandise. This is done with professional, courteous, and friendly behavior. Produce Clerk also have a strong working knowledge of the products and services that are offered within the department. This knowledge allows them to share suggestions with guests. 

　　 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Provide frequent guest service through friendly behavior and extensive product knowledge.Stock items within the department and maintain merchandising standards.Work in cooler and backroom areas. Organize and put product away as assigned or needed.A produce clerk is responsible to maintain department standards and cleanliness. Some of this includes: food preparation (cutting fruit and vegetables, making salsas, etc.); operating equipment (carts, pallet jacks, box knives, etc.); cleaning (dishes, floors, counters, equipment, taking out garbage, etc.). Follow company rules and state-mandated health and safety laws (Food Handlers Permit)Proper operation, respect, and care for equipmentProduce Clerks follow all policy and food handling regulations to ensure proper food safety including: cleanliness during food preparation, proper hand washing and personal hygiene.* POSITION REQUIREMENTS *

　　 *PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS *

　　Ability to stand for an extended period of time. Able to lift 40 pounds frequently. Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store to conduct audits and safety inspections, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.
