Position SummaryThe Senior Finance Manager will oversee a portfolio of UM NY external client and intercompany contracts, responsible for client's fee calculation and tracking, application of proper revenue recognition methodology and clients' contracts management. This role reports to the UM NY SVP of Finance.
ResponsibilitiesProvide financial support for a clients' portfolio and partner with business leads on pricing and resources' tracking and managementProvide monthly, quarterly and annual projection on both revenue and staffingManage external client and intercompany contracts and application of proper revenue recognition methodology per GAAP and IPG Corporate PolicyProduce and analyze Client P&Ls and staffing utilization reportsWork on pricing media services for New Business projectsDocument, implement and maintain accounting controls for SOX complianceAnalyze and optimize WIP balances, revenue and production billings, and intercompany revenue transfersPrimary point of contact for revenue related inquiries from financial management, auditors, and parent company (IPG)Consult within client finance group regarding revenue forecastsShare innovative ideas for better work practicesImprove utilization of financial systems in revenue analysis, client billing, and intercompany billingDesired Skills & ExperienceFinance/Business degree preferred, with on-the-job accounting experience5+ years of experience in finance, accounting and/or FP&AInnately curious with an inquisitive attitude; eager to learn and passionate about the advertising industryExtreme attention to detail, process driven with a strong analytical/math backgroundHighly skilled in MS ExcelDemonstrable problem solving and logical analysis skillsUsed to managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex and large data sets and reportsExperience managing/analyzing billing and revenues, revenue recognition methodologiesSome experience in reviewing Master Services Agreements and Scopes of WorkExperience in the advertising/media/marketing industries and pricing of services a plusWe See You At IPG Mediabrands, we are unified behind a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. The salary range for this position is posted below. Salary Range
$100,000-$125,000 USD
