Purpose: The Center for Culturally Responsive Engagement (CCRE) provides services to clients and partners developed around culturally defined values, knowledge, and beliefs of the population served and the context in which they occur. We systematically identify and address racism, cultural stereotypes, and other forms of intolerance, injustice, and oppression. Our partners are philanthropic, governmental, nonprofit, and academic institutions and those they serve. We see cultural differences as assets and leverage culturally responsive engagement as a tool for advancing equity and social justice by shifting power to those most impacted for decision-making, policy and practice development, systems transformation, and social change.
Under the direction of the Associate Director, the Sr. Evaluation Consultant provides scientific oversight for evaluation projects with clients including but not limited to W.K. Kellogg Foundation (nationwide), Ford Foundation (nationwide), and local, state, or federal governments. Activities involve: (1) conducting evaluation, (2) coordinating the planning, development, and implementation of projects; (3) providing technical assistance, expertise, and leadership for evaluation activities; (4) data management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, interpretation, and reporting, (5) assisting in a variety of project management and development activities and (6) providing consultation on culturally responsive, racially equitable evaluation, learning, and capacity building.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Community Based TA/Facilitation/Coordination TasksDevelop and facilitate relationships with various community engagement sessions and provide support to community partners, clients, vendors, grant funders, and grantees.Promote expansion of services for underserved and underprivileged populations.Convene partners to facilitate trust, identifying a shared vision and building common language around the learning and evaluation process.Coordinate program activities, including analyzing project needs, developing workplans and timelines, writing progress and evaluation reports and ensure service and contract obligation and/or goals are met.Document and report on project activities and status to internal and external partners on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis related to project activities.Support compliance with MPHI Institution Research Review Board and HIPAA Privacy Panel policies and procedures.
Evaluation and Consulting TasksParticipate in data gathering and management, including the design and conduct of data collection and management procedures, instrument development, and monitoring of the data collection process.Conduct qualitative, descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistical analyses.Interpret results of analyses and develop materials for data reporting.Prepare project-related reports, literature reviews, articles, graphical presentations, data tables, internal tracking reports, and other written materials.Provide technical assistance on evaluation methodology, data management, and qualitative and statistical analysis to MPHI staff and directly to MPHI clients when necessary.Provide mentorship and guidance in evaluation methods to support the development of team members.Collect, analyze, and evaluate data for program initiatives.Provide technical assistance and evaluation support including coaching, one-on-one support and other consultation for learning and evaluation initiatives.Develop evaluation work plans, reports and other s
