Job Overview
This position is responsible for full performance complex work supportinginformation technology application(s) through planning, designing,implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support.Duties include providing front line support to end users through analyzing anddiagnosing problems and determining a solution. This position may perform leadwork over lower-level staff.

Department: Clinical Application ServicesHours per week: 40, eligible for benefitsShift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Work hours may vary depending on theneeds of the department. This position does require on-call rotation, whichincludes weekends and holidays.*This is a hybrid position.
Qualifications
EDUCATION - High School or GEDBachelors degree preferredEXPERIENCE - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required.Clinical laboratory experience preferredEQUIVALENCY - An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field maysubstitute for the required experience.CERTIFICATION(S) - Epic certification in primary application will berequired within four months of hire. Team members will be sent to Epic formandatory training and will be given two attempts to pass certificationtesting to maintain employment.Current Medical Technologist (ASCP), or equivalent, certification preferredCurrent Beaker Clinical Pathology Certification and build experience preferredCurrent Beaker Anatomic Pathology Certification and build experience preferred

These examples do not include all the functions which theemployee may be expected to perform.Analyzes and diagnoses complex system problems, identifies root cause, andthen solves the problem or escalates issues to other appropriate IT staff whenoutside area of responsibility or expertise.Plans, designs, implements, maintains and provides on oing optimizationand support for applications.Gathers, validates, and translates complex technological requirements intodesign and development specification while providing product management.May be designated as a lead for their team, including scoping and triagingprojects for the team.Collaborates with system users to and other IT professionals evaluate,plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain systems.Addresses highly technical issues that occur during installation andmaintenance activities.Completes or coordinates the preparation, coding, testing, and debuggingof complex programs.Analyzes, designs and builds workflows to meet the needs of users.Configures and integrates electronic and mechanical hardware with softwareproducts to meet the functional criteria of client specifications.
