　　The team you will be a part of

　　The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

　　This role in summary

　　Whirlpool is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Sr. Engineer.

　　In this position you will work with the Built-in Cooking System Integration Team on cooking appliances from Concept through Production Validation. This role will deliver product leadership through balanced product solutions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing system integration for assigned projects, ensuring that project activities are completed on time, meeting product and project requirements, including cost, quality and performance targets. This position is accountable for system level design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and technical decision making within the project. The system integrators will full system validation for the project

　　through use of predictive validation methodologies in concept, design and product validation stages.

　　Your responsibilities will include

　　Responsible for system integration of Built-In Cooking products during concept, development and execution project phases

　　Responsible for delivery of a system that meets system requirements and within project targets of time, cost and quality

　　Facilitates trade-offs and issues resolution in support of project and product requirements

　　Ensure full system validation to product requirements

　　Act as the technical project manager owning the system level development plan that integrates individual sub-system and critical x-functional inputs.

　　Represent the technical project team at project core team, providing report of project status vs project targets

　　Minimum requirements

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Any Engineering

　　Solid Experience in Product Development

　　Solid experience in Project Management

　　Preferred skills and experiences

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

　　2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering

　　Work in a Global environment (organizations and locations)

　　Experience in structures, heat transfer, and thermodynamics

　　Experience in Electrical/Electronic systems

　　Experience with system integration skills

　　Technical coaching abilities

　　Global team experience

　　People leadership experience

　　Desire to grow, learn and take on new and challenging tasks

　　Analytical skills, experience in solving practical issues, and engaging cross-functional teams of multiple process partners to a consensus

　　Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

　　Ability to meet stringent deadlines; handle multiple tasks

　　Self-driven and motivated
