This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Pacific Northwest Remediation team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional environmental cleanup and site management. Held's footprint, individuals have the opportunity to work not only in the Pacific Northwest, but globally.Job Responsibilities* Ability to manage multiple remediation projects simultaneously* Ability to manage staff to drive remediation projects to closure* Carrying out site assessments* Conducting technical and sampling audits* Performing due diligence* Evaluating the environmental impact of an organization's industrial and commercial activities* Making recommendations about required remedial work and ways to meet Washington State regulatory requirements* Using computer modelling and data to assess and forecast environmental remediation methods and outcomes Producing technical reports* Will develop and maintain client relationships with the goal of being a trusted advisorRequired Qualifications* B.S.E. or B.S. in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, mechanical engineering, geology, biology, chemistry or related field.* 10+ years of relevant work experience.* Experience working with the Washington Department of Ecology through the Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP), Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulations, Sediment Management Standards, Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) cleanup program including Pollution Liability Insurance Agency's (PLIA) program, and the Voluntary Cleanup Program.* Experience in the preparation of project work plans and execution of approved cleanup programs to completion including the day to day management of field personnel is required.* Experience with management of solid, hazardous, and nuclear waste along with waste reduction and pollution prevention experience are highly desirable.* Experience working with Washington industrial facilities to obtain the necessary permits for regulated activities and to report on those activities to the Department of Ecology are also desired.* Registration as a professional engineer in the State of Washington or able to become registered based on reciprocity.* Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel* Flexible to work outside of normal business hours as required* Professional licenses are desirable (e.g. Licensed SiteTo view the full job description,
