Role Description:
The Senior Email Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing responsive emails while ensuring adherence to brand standards and current code practices. This role includes creating UI, front-end, and back-end code, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting dynamic HTML emails. Key responsibilities involve list management and growth, maintaining a clean opt-in list, capturing user preferences for enhanced targeting and personalization, monitoring channel performance, meeting or exceeding benchmarks through reporting and measurement, and creating and maintaining standard brand-compliant templates. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality email and landing page code that supports templated designs and is compatible across major inboxes/email clients.
Responsibilities :
End-to-End Email Production: Oversee the entire process of email deployment, including coding designs, testing, managing recipient lists with Pardot and CRM, creating segments, testing, and scheduling.
Responsive HTML/CSS: Develop high-quality, responsive email and WordPress landing page code to support Ten-X marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Reporting and Measurement: Analyze email performance metrics, identify trends, and develop concise reports. Aim to meet or exceed benchmarks by optimizing strategies based on data.
List Management and Growth: Increase opt-in email lists while maintaining cleanliness. Implement strategies for acquiring new subscribers and maintaining email deliverability.
Personalization Strategy: Capture audience preferences for better targeting and implement data-driven personalization techniques to enhance customer engagement and optimize campaign results.
Generate New ideas:Facilitate A/B testing, and pivot quickly to new directions based on feedback & learning.
Project Scheduling: Manage and maintain timelines for crucial email marketing projects.
Stay Updated: Keep up with emerging internet technologies and implement best practices in layout and design.
Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and the Marketing team to plan and execute email campaigns, while keeping all parties informed on project status.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
4+ years of relevant work experience in email production.
1+ years of experience with HTML/CSS front-end coding specifically for email (fluid responsive design layouts, device breakpoints and workarounds for limitations of email clients/browsers).
Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or equivalent to manipulate and export email design files.
Experience with WordPress landing page development.
Proven ability to schedule targeted email programs to segmented leads using advanced distribution platforms such as Pardot or Marketo
Strong understanding of Internet-based consumer behavior.
Tactical, hands-on experience in high-volume email marketing environment.
Experience with multiple ESPs, and fluency with basic tenets of email system architecture.
Attention to detail in producing deliverables while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy.
Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.
Able to translate technical explanations to non-technical parties.
A passion for the email space and the specific intricacies of designing and developing emails.

This position offers a base salary range of $72,000 to $132,000 based on relevant skills and experience and a generous benefits plan.
