Job Description

　　Position Summary: One of Insight Global's major clients are looking for a senior-level electrical engineer to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The main responsibility of chosen candidates will be the design of electrical building systems for primarily commercial and light industrial facilities. In addition, daily responsibilities will include:

　　* Support the company with the design of complex electrical systems.

　　* Lead the preparation of 3- and 2-dimensional construction documents using Revit.

　　* Prepare documents, calculations, and energy modeling studies for the LEED certification process.

　　* Lead design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.

　　* Plan project production process.

　　* Lead the performance of contract administration duties of site visits, submittal review and contractor assistance.

　　* Perform project management of a multi-discipline team of engineers.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Required Qualifications / skills:

　　* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

　　* Licensed Professional Engineer

　　* 7-10 minimum years of experience in the electrical consulting business, including power and lighting

　　* Proficiency in Revit design software

　　* Demonstrates a high-level understanding of electrical system concepts

　　* Ability to design and manage large complex electrical building systems

　　* Possess a solid technical base with desire to learn, lead, and grow into one of the firm's lead electrical engineers and project management for building types including healthcare, higher education, science and technology, workplace, and many others

　　* Ability to prioritize effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures

　　* Possess strong written and oral communication skills null
