　　Your New Role...

　　The Senior Editor of Product Testing will work directly with the Managing Editor to direct the editorial process for product testing at Underscored, CNN.com's reviews and recommendations section. The Senior Editor of Product Testing is responsible for all of our in-depth, long-form product reviews and guides and the strenuous product testing process that facilitates them. This role will also manage the product review update process, source product testing video and photo assets for web and social, and work closely with the SEO and Insights teams to create a content calendar that enables us to achieve our brand and audience goals.

　　Your Role Accountabilities...

　　• Maintain Underscored's product testing calendar and work with the Managing Editor on forward planning throughout the year

　　• Own quality control around our rigorous product testing process and ensure high standards are adhered to throughout

　　• Provide final editorial sign-off on all product reviews and product guides, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness and adherence to Underscored's tone, voice and editorial approach

　　• Manage a team of editors and writers and collaborate with section editors across the Underscored editorial team

　　• Manage and build out our network of freelance contributors to ensure we stay best-in-class

　　• Work closely with photo, video, newsletter and social teams to publish across all of Underscored's distribution channels

　　• Partner with our SEO and Data Insights teams and ensure our testing editorial complies with their guidance

　　• Pitch story ideas and contribute to editorial tentpole events

　　Qualifications & Experience...

　　• College degree in journalism or a related field preferred

　　• 7+ years of editorial experience at a major publisher; ideally, 2+ years managing an editorial product testing process

　　• Extraordinary attention to detail is a must

　　• Experience managing teams of editors and freelance writers is required

　　In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $97,479.00 - $181,033.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
