Duties to include: responsible for the function design, development, and technology product activities related to Optum s Solutran Optum Consumer payments business within the Optum Financial Services division; oversee technology products from product definition and planning through production, release, and launch; responsible for the full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products; leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs as well as emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or adjust current product offerings; balance deep subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and solid technical aptitude; responsible for delivering product performance against expectations and update changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs; own the P&L, build product vision, CBAs, and help business prioritize the product initiatives based on ROIs; responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, clients, and business leaders; and function as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices. Position requires seven (7) years of experience in the following: Healthcare industry; Leading a team/organization; Creating and managing full product lifecycle management including vision/strategy, design, development, launch; Building roadmaps/timelines using MS Project and Aha! to track large programs end-to-end; Product management tools such as Jira, CA Agile (Rally), or Agile Accelerator to create/drive/track vision, key results, initiatives, capabilities, features, and user stories from ideation to production launch; Setting and driving data governance and advanced data analytics strategy in platforms including Tableau and Power BI; Working with provider data, payer data, practice management integrations, and translating healthcare EDI X12 270/271 eligibility & benefits inquiry and response, 270/276/837 claims inquiry and response, 835 Electronic Remit Advice transactions segments for provider facing multi-payer integrations; Agile Software Development Life Cycle experience in leading scrum teams; CI/CD concepts; Working with batch and real time system integrations (SOAP UI, REST APIs) and cloud-based technologies like Kafka stream; and Building use cases and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
