Position Summary:

We are looking for a senior Strategic Pricing leader, reporting directly to the CFO, to bring a strong expertise in pricing strategy and a deep understanding of the SaaS pricing models. This role will focus on developing a robust, company-wide pricing and packaging strategy, supporting price setting across our product portfolio, optimizing price execution and driving the overall company growth.
Your Day-to-Day:
Conduct a thorough diagnostic of current price setting and execution practices, develop a strategy for value-based commercialization of products and services, aimed to preserve Bentley’s leadership position in the infrastructure software market and drive customer acquisition and retention.
Build and lead the Pricing function, driving transformative initiatives and building commercial capabilities across internal and go-to-market teams, delivering direct impact to key financial metrics.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Product and Marketing, empowering them with real-time insights, facilitating data-driven decision-making and strategic alignment.
Support annual corporate planning cycle as well as ongoing price-setting initiatives, conducting market research, competitive analysis and price experimentation where needed, to identify most effective, value-aligned pricing strategies.
Continuously monitor pricing performance, financial metrics and market trends to identify areas for commercial optimization
Support Pricing change management, develop clear and concise approaches to effectively communicate pricing changes to customers and internal stakeholders.
What You Bring to The Team:

Exceptional understanding of pricing models and monetization approaches, with demonstrated success in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth while positively impacting customer acquisition and retention.
Deep knowledge of market research methodologies and various research techniques applied to value proposition and price strategy development.
Excellent communication skills to develop concise reports and convey complex insights in a clear and compelling manner to a range of audiences, including senior executives.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of pricing and packaging strategy or monetization experience, with at least 5 years in SaaS/PaaS context, working either for a software company or a consulting firm.
Exceptional understanding of software pricing and packaging models, monetization strategies and pricing analytics, up to date on trends and innovation in SaaS commercial offerings.
Passion for data analysis and ability to distil into actionable insights, high level of attention to detail.
Experience in leading multi-stakeholder strategic projects from inception to completion, identifying and developing solutions to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in economics, statistics, or related quantitative field
Previous P&L ownership of a software product or commercial experience at a SaaS company would be beneficial.
