  The Senior Director of Product Management oversees the Compliance,Quality, and Safety multi-product family portfolio and is responsiblefor the execution of the overall product portfolio roadmap and businessplan. This includes both an understanding of, and leading, theinvestment strategy for the line of business and maintaining thatstrategy. This role will work closely with other leaders to understandneeds from Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, andOperations to ensure the financial, sales and customer retention goalsare met. The Senior Director will guide and execute the overall ProductStrategy by building a department of strong individuals and processes tofulfill the responsibilities necessary for success.

  Duties & Responsibilities

  Ensure the product mix and the product priorities support thecompany\'s overall strategy and goals, and that the product andengineering organization stays aligned to the set goals.Create and align the portfolio product roadmaps with the company\'soverall go-to-market and product strategiesParticipate as a member of a cross-functional team as therepresentative of all products within the portfolioRefine and execute plans for migrations from legacy applications tonew applications.Prioritize product releases in a way that accelerates value deliveryto customers and moves toward the vision for the product portfolioWork with the senior leadership team and cross-functional leadersacross the organization as needed to develop and execute a productstrategy across the organizationAttract, develop, and lead a team of Product Managers, ProductOwners and Business Analysts and guide the team in making strategicproduct decisions based on sound researchUtilize symplr-defined processes and tested frameworks likePragmatic Marketing and Stage-Gate to guide product developmenteffortsWork with the entire organization to ensure commitments arefulfilled on time and the cross-functional business unit is preparedfor software releases.Have a communication plan to report progress easily andtransparently on the roadmap, priorities, issues, and launchactivity to all internal stakeholders.Be the \'voice of the customer\' for outside stakeholders to ensurethat their needs are met.Work directly with sales and customers to understand their needs,respond to questions, and adjust product plans as needed to grow thebusinessPartner with product marketing to create and facilitate customeradvisory board meetings and support product managers with thecreation of customer collaboration boardsCreate and maintain a cross-departmental Product CouncilFollow the PDLC framework for new product development efforts,product enhancements, and end of life planning, and adjust toprocess improvements as they are introducedManage product end-of-life decisions and take steps to shut downthose applicationsIdentify and execute opportunities to improve quality across ourproduct portfolio including application development,implementations, and maintenance activitiesTrack the overall product management budgetCreate business cases for new product development efforts and/orpartnerships to enhance product\'s competitive position and/orsupport sales opportunitiesWrite funding proposals for additional development resourcesIdentify, investigate, and report key metrics driving productsuccessSkills Required

  Bachelor\'s degree10+ years\' experience in Product Management or Product Strategyleadership position8+ years\' experience in developing people and managing highperforming teamsProven experience leading a Product Management team and mentoringProduct leadersExperience bringing new software products to marketCuriosity and creativityExperience in management of a roadmap and tracking overall strategicdirectionHealthcare industry knowledgeStrong business acumen\<
