You will make an impact by:
Manage and/or lead cobalt chromium responsibilities and technician support within the Metals area
Plan and direct assigned operational and project activities with the accountability for successful completion of assigned deliverables
Identify opportunities and lead the execution of changes to drive improvements
Create/update complex engineering documents including requirement specs, and risk documents with robust knowledge on design control requirements
Develop team members to increase business acumen and functional skills
Work on complex issues where analysis of issues requires in-depth knowledge

What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related field with experience in engineeringWhat else we look for:
Experience working in a regulated industry
Experience working with cobalt chromium and/or nitinol
Ability to manage technical and/or engineering disciplines and demonstrated informal mentoring and/or peer leadership skills
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
Extensive understanding of engineering procedures while defining team operating standards
Demonstrated skill set to manage small team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
Ability to integrate metrics into projects and operations
Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
Share information and provide basic problem solving solutions; gain cooperation of others, conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
