Title: Senior Director of Sales

Job Summary
Our Senior Director of Sales position is a senior sales leader responsible for overseeing sales operations and strategies within our Enterprise and Mid-Market segments. This role involves leading Managing Director and Account Managers, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic plans to meet the company's goals.
Essential Job Functions
Sales Strategy Planning:
Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the market segments to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals and KPIs for the team/s.
Team Leadership Management:
Lead and mentor Managing Directors and motivate a team of Account Managers.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
Recruit and onboard new sales talent as needed.
Revenue Generation and Growth:
Drive sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within key accounts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and partners.
Sales Operations:
Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to make informed decisions.
Oversee the implementation of sales processes and tools to improve efficiency.
Ensure proper utilization of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.
Communicate effectively with senior management regarding sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in B2B sales.
3+ years in a leadership role managing sales teams.
Preferred Skills Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience working in subscription, SaaS, professional services, or learning and development.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
Demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and develop customized solutions for large-scale clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing large enterprise accounts.
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence at various levels of the organization.
For location-specific compensation:
California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $350-400k TTC, 60/40 split base/variable pay. Actual offer may be outside of this prediction and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
