ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the third-party leasing team to develop marketing strategy and lead all subsequent tenant negotiations with an owner's perspective, leveraging local market insights and relationships. The asset manager will also be solely responsible for favorably resolving tenant collection issues for the benefit of ownershipOversee & manage property management team activities and responsibilitiesPrepare financial analysis to support lease recommendationsNegotiate all terms of a lease contract and partner with legal counsel to finalize all legal documentsDevelop annual and multi-year business plans that meet the short and long-term goals of ownershipAssist in the production of quarterly reports to ownership that provide status on all major property operationsRegularly and efficiently communicate with ownership to provide status on major issues, and progress towards financial goalsPrepare hold/sell analyses and assist in the disposition processLead the evaluation of debt strategiesPerform detailed assessments of property capital needs and recommend projects to ownership that are accretive to valueLead initial due diligence assessments of properties under consideration for purchase by clients
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor'sdegreeinbusiness,finance,accounting, or economics. MBA or Master's in Real Estate preferredMinimum of 7 years' experience in Real Estate with a proven track record of involvement in successful real estate transactions across multiple property typesCurrent knowledge of industry trends in real estate and development, and a natural desire to understand specific market characteristics; experience of commercial real estate analysis/asset management experience with an emphasis in multi-family and retail properties may be requiredProficiency in all major real estate software products including: Yardi, Argus, VTS, RCAExcellent negotiating and influencing skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage conflicts and create positive outcomesAdvanced business acumenStrong attention to detail
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $178,500.00 - $210,000.00
