The Liquidity Reporting Team, which is part of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is looking for Liquidity Reporting Manager who cover CRD IV liquidity related templates including LCR, NSFR, ALMM and Asset encumbrance returns. The center is a key part of Citi’s Finance function on global scale and offers excellent career opportunities for financial reporting professionals. . The Liquidity Reporting Manager leads the team in reporting activities such as reconciliations, adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each period. The overall objective is to lead a Finance operational team through delegation and supervision to ensure they perform monthly activities on time and follow specified guidelines as well as contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within the area of expertise.
In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:
Understand and analyse liquidity reporting processes, including data and system flows, automated and manual controls
Review liquidity reports and consult with Corporate Treasury on any operational issues and proposed regulatory changes
Propose and execute process improvements, initiating system and data flow changes, implementing digital solutions
Participate in strategic projects and collaborate with BAU reporting team and Business Analysts to ensure timely completion
Drive initiatives to improve and document internal controls
Review and check control items, participate in Internal Audit reviews, ICRM and Quality Control’s reviews
Help integration of control improvements into operational processes of the reporting team
Standardize processes and workflows across Material Legal Entities
Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures
Serve as a technical mentor for an area within the business
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements, manage multiple work streams in parallel
Ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
Proven organization and time management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proven problem-solving skills
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
IT affinity is a plus
