Job Description
Implements policies and programs related to advanced clinical providers across the system. Partners with leadership to support the strategic direction of the organization. Implements metrics using data models and directs the internal evaluations of the compensation program to ensure compliance.
Job Responsibility
Develops, interprets, communicates, and implements policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance among physician assistants for assigned multiple clinical sites.
Collaborates with medical management and senior administration in establishing protocols related to clinical quality, standards of care, and work flow optimization, as well as in strategic planning, implementing, and evaluating operations of assigned departments.
Develops and monitors budgets related to physician assistants to manage financial resources effectively.
Acts as liaison with associated departments to maintain and improve volume, quality, and revenue generation.
Oversees staffing and systems analysis to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of care.
Collaborates with chief residents to coordinate the provisions of quality patient care and teaching program to include residency and fellowship programs.
Acts as liaison with physician assistant programs to provide teaching resources.
Develops and implements curriculum for physician assistant training in compliance with professional, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
Ensures compliance with various regulatory bodies' rules and regulations.

Job Qualification
Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area required.
Current License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State,
and Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
OR Master of Science required.
Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Department of Education, required. Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), required.
OR Master's Degree in clinical nursing practice. Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. CNS certification in applicable specialty practice areas: Adult Health, Oncology, Pediatrics and Psychiatry/Mental Health by a national certification organization (ANCC, AACN or ONCC), required.
AND 8-12 years of technical experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
