These services allow our team to form a strong rapport with clients, marshalling them as they grow and helping them address industry and market challenges. The Design & Consulting Team serves a diverse set of markets including food and beverage, consumer products, aviation and aerospace, civil infrastructure, healthcare, and Federal Government projects. In this role, you will perform design, detailing, and analysis under the supervision of the Administrator or Project Personnel. Job Responsibilities: Application of Knowledge of Process Systems: Creates or modifies drawings from annotated mark-ups Design Effectively applies discipline design and detailing fundamentals in developing designs Produces well-organized, finished drawings of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness from layouts, sketches, verbal and/or written instructions adhering to team and discipline standards Checks own work carefully to minimize all deficiencies, errors, and omissions Assists with production of specifications Performs analysis or calculations as assigned Construction Support Subject to final approval, the senior designer checks shop drawings and submittals data for conformance with contract documents The senior designer advises and assists construction personnel in the interpretation and clarification of construction documents as directed, providing timely solutions to field problems, preparing field orders, addenda, and record drawings Planning, Scheduling, and Profitability Assists by providing required information on a timely basis and keeping the supervisor apprised as to the progress of the work Maintains an orderly work file and prepares clear well-written memos/correspondence Assists with drawing planning, management, and adherence to the schedule Designs project within provided design budget and track additional hours utilized, including when the scope is expanded Project Management Coordinates work with other disciplines regarding dimensions and interference to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions Professional Development Participates in professional community organizations and trade organizations within discipline Leadership Adheres to established company standards and policies. Train both formally and informally Designers within the specific discipline Education/Experience: High school degree or GED equivalent Technical training in applicable discipline design 8 - 10 years of experience in relevant design focus Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications: Experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or REVIT for process piping REVIT - experience using REVIT for complex process piping projects and in developing the databases and families required AutoCAD Plant 3D - in-depth knowledge of Plant 3D customizations and AutoCAD Lisp programming; piping specs, specialty item customization, and catalogs preparation; extraction of various reports like Interferences, Report, MOT, Line List, Design Parameters, etc. Desirable experience in applicable design work Proficient in the us of current technology in discipline Haskell offers a very robust and comprehensive benefits package! Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
